Sam Whittingham in the News

Here’s a nice news piece about Sam Whittingham of Naked Bicycles and Design. I always get a kick out of seeing the BikeCAD drawings on the walls of Sam’s shop. It makes me feel like I’m playing a small part in the amazing bikes he creates.

    I find it amazing that you are the builder and rider of these record bikes.

    I am not familiar with the organization that is measuring your speed, and where is the flat road?

    While Sam does build bicycles, his focus is on traditional diamond frame bikes. Sam’s record setting bikes are built by Georgi Georgiev on nearby Gabriola Island. The records have been set in Battle Mountain, Nevada and have been overseen by the International Human Powered Vehicle Association.
