The Rocky Mountain Bicycles booth featured this amazing wooden bike sculpture. It was handmade in Kleinwalsertal and weighs 276 kg.
One of the fun things about Eurobike is seeing all of the ultra tricked out bikes on display. A lot of companies compete to have the lightest, most aero time trial bike, or the most bombproof downhill bike. But I really liked what Koga-Miyata did. They presented the most tricked out commuter bike. The Aeroblade below features a frame of 3Al/2.5V titanium with sandblasted decals. The fenders and wheels are a blend of carbon fiber, glass fiber and aluminium oxide. The bike also features hydraulic brakes, a Rohloff Speedhub and a Brooks B17 saddle trimmed in Hulshof Litano leather made by Ellermeyer. It sells for €12500.
Another Koga bike that I really liked was this carbon fiber folding bike. The shape of the frame looks stylish but it also serves a purpose in providing space for the front wheel when folded.
