Congrats to Josh and Lauren who were married in Victoria Park this past weekend. It was an honour to see the Couchbike incorporated into their celebration. Here are some photos from the day.

The Snowbird Human-Powered Ornithopter was designed and constructed by a team of students from the University of Toronto. On August 2nd 2010 it sustained level flight for 19.3 seconds, becoming the world’s first successful human-powered ornithopter. Rather than employing a pedaling action via a chain drive, the Snowbird uses a rowing motion using componentry from Derk Thijs’ Rowingbike.
